Flashback

Last November I posted about the Longboards race that was covered in Forbes.  The final event of this racing season was a sloppy day on the ides of March. The story in the local paper is a hoot and worth a read, but they have a completely wrong photo posted. Here is a scan of the correct photo from the print version.

What I just found on the Buzz on the county visitors bureau website (also on Twitter @plumascounty) is that it was in an i-Report on CNN.

It was in the high 60s two days ago; but by any measure, spring snow is a gillion times better than summer smoke.
P.S., as I post this, the sun has come out, the roads are clear, and the snow is melting.
