Peak Peeping Season

If the past is any predictor of the future, this weekend may be the time to see the venerable "Judge Thieler sugar maple" near its peak. 
Even the BlackOakNaturalist is making time for the maple as evidenced by this shot on his blog today.

Also, many thanks to BlackOakNaturalist for my use of his photo above. His camera is much much much better than the puny cellphone I use to take the daily snapshot.
