We also went many other places between the Grand Canyon and San Simeon, such as Taos and Santa Fe NM, Texas from Amarillo to Houston (our actual destination to see our son perform) to El Paso, the desert SW, and north from Santa Monica on CA highway 1. But alas, a downside of using an app-phone in place of a proper camera on a vacation is that an ill-timed update over a weak signal caused ten-days' photos to vanish.; August 3, 2010 at 4:14 PM
